Just 150 kilometres away from Vienna, Hochkar Mountain has nine modern ski lifts, 19 kilometres of skiing slopes, the Senonerpark Hochkar and gorgeous countryside with spectacular panoramic views totally unique to the whole of Lower Austria!
The Hochkar is not only known for its legendary snow reliability, it has long been a true hotbed of Austria’s World Cup skiers too. Our ÖSV stars Thomas Sykora, Andreas Buder and Kathrin Zettel not only value the excellent training conditions and the Hochkar’s perfectly groomed slopes. For those in the mood for some après-ski, the diverse gastronomy scene on the Hochkar – from rustic ski huts to self-service restaurants and the après-ski temples JoSchi Bar and Latsch’n Alm – will leave nothing to be desired.
The very reliable snow conditions are naturally supported by a state-of-the-art snow-making system, so there’s really nothing to stop people from having pure skiing enjoyment from early December to late April!
